A Bold & Courageous Leader
Kanani firmly believes that true leadership transcends strict adherence to party lines and centers instead on serving the people with integrity, openness, and a commitment to the common good. She holds that leadership for all means prioritizing the needs, hopes, and challenges of the entire community above partisan politics. Kanani values listening to diverse voices, considering different perspectives, and making decisions grounded in principles, evidence, and the long-term welfare of those she represents—not merely on party loyalty or ideological conformity. By placing the interests of her constituents over party agendas, she fosters trust, encourages collaboration, and creates space for innovative solutions that benefit everyone.
Moreover, Kanani embraces leadership that breaks free from rigid party expectations, empowering herself and others to act with authenticity and courage, especially when faced with difficult choices. She champions critical thinking and respectful dialogue, recognizing that no single viewpoint holds all the answers. Through this inclusive approach, Kanani works to bridge divides, build meaningful coalitions, and demonstrate that governance is about solving real problems for people’s lives rather than winning political battles. Her leadership is rooted in putting people first, upholding integrity, and pursuing progress through unity rather than division.

Kanani Represents Everyone in our Community
One District, Every Voice
Standing up for all of us—because our differences make us stronger.
Our district is a place where cultures, experiences, and perspectives come together to create something unique. As your representative, Kanani believes every voice matters. She is committed to tackling the high cost of living, protecting our natural resources, and ensuring access to quality education and healthcare for all. By listening first and leading with respect, Kanani works to find common ground and deliver results that benefit every neighbor, every family, and every corner of our community.
Together for Tomorrow
Building a future where everyone has a seat at the table.
A thriving community is one where every resident feels seen, heard, and valued. That’s why my approach to leadership is rooted in collaboration—bringing together diverse voices to solve the challenges we face. From addressing traffic and infrastructure needs to protecting our shorelines and parks, from supporting small businesses to safeguarding affordable housing, Kanani will continue to fight for solutions that work for everyone. We may not always agree on every detail, but we can agree on this: our future is brighter when we build it together.
Bridging Voices, Building Futures
Uniting ideas, people, and purpose for the good of our whole community.
Too often, politics divides us into “sides.” I believe in a different path—one that puts people before party and progress before politics. Representing all people means recognizing the unique needs of each neighborhood, whether it’s improving public safety, protecting cultural heritage, or investing in our schools. It means listening to residents from every background and finding ways to move forward together. Kanani's commitment is simple: to be a representative who works across divides, delivers practical solutions, and builds a future where everyone has the opportunity to succeed.
All In for Our Community
Every neighbor. Every challenge. Every opportunity—together.
This campaign is about more than one election—it’s about the kind of future we choose to build. Kanani is all in for tackling the big issues head-on: keeping housing affordable so our families can stay, protecting our ʻāina from short-sighted development, improving our roads and infrastructure, and making sure our schools give every keiki the tools to thrive. It’s about making sure government works for all of us—not just a select few. Together, we can make our district stronger and ready for the challenges ahead. Let’s get it done!
Kanani is the Only Republican in the Hawaii State House Leading the Charge for Government Reform
Kanani has made it clear that government reform is not just a talking point, but a responsibility. As co-chair of the bipartisan Good Government Caucus, she is the only Republican in the State House who is actively driving efforts to increase transparency, strengthen accountability, and restore trust in public institutions. While others may sit quietly or continue to point out problems without providing solutions, Kanani is putting in the work—challenging the status quo, asking the hard questions, and pushing reforms that put the people of Hawai‘i first. Her leadership shows that true change comes from action, not empty promises.
